Here's five things we look for...

1. Enthusiasm!

We want people that are just as excited about the products we carry as we are. And just as happy to be here as our customers are, too.

2. Product Knowledge

A key element to what makes us so dang good, is that our staff is smart. Not necessarily Reed Richards- or Brainiac-smart, but intelligent. They know our stock well enough to answer just about any question our customers throw at them.

And when we don't know, we find the answer without dropping the "I don't know" card.

3. Self-Motivation & Self-Management

Are you an independent, self-sufficient person? Great. We want people that can get the job done with or without even being asked to do it. There's always stuff to do in all of our stores. So, don't expect someone to get you started on new projects.

Luckily, none of it's grueling labor. It's just work (without the paper hat).

4. Team Player

Seems obvious enough, but we want people that work well with other people. Other people just like us.

Yes, you need to be independent (as listed above) and a team player. It's not an oxymoron.

5. Fun & Friendly

This is probably the most important part, being a friendly and easy to get along with team member. Our customers should always feel good that they stopped by the store today. And you are a very big part of that.
