Landspeeders arent bad. About a half hour, tops. Drop pods arent bad either if you glue the doors shut heheh. I still think the tread assemblies on the Stormblade models are an exercise in futility.

Corsairs were a pain in the ass.. Only because you had to rank them up WHILE building them.

Dark Eldar stuff is full of difficult to-build models.
Aftermath can be calculated.

I would put a vote on the kroot, but the overall fail in design for me would be given to ....
Actually come to think of it, I really don't have too bad experiences with GW models.
Their win design goes to Gretchin. It is super ridiculous. Glue on head, Glue on base and done!
Some of my least liked models are Kroot, the Assault on black reach NOBZ (never liked the design compared to the regular kit. I find it very unlikely that an ork would keep its choppa at a 90 degree angle all the time in a battle, as well as move shoot and assault), Eldar Walker, Space Marine scouts w/bolter and Chain sword (snipers are cool), The Space Marine Assault Squad with metal Backpack (gee, I wonder where the center of gravity is between a 5 gram plastic miniature and a 10 g metal backpack up high. In game: having to use the wobbly model syndrome rule and replacing the mini with a coin, on flat ground) and the old Space Marine Chaplain.

Its between 3 models for me, each for different reasons.

Chaos Knights are great looking models, that are real easy to put together. The only problem is that you have to rank them up like most other R&F troops in Fantasy. And the models are huge. Once the rider is on they are about 1.5 times as wide as thier base, and theres no end to arms from different models bumping into each other. I solved this by angling the minis on thier bases, but they still needed to be marked on the bottoms of thier bases.

Next up I would say the current Vampire Grave Guard models. A total of 8 pecies each, they have the same problem Tim was talking about (2 arms + weapon + body all at the same time), only these are skeletons. Thier parts are thinner than necron parts by alot.

Last I would say the previous demon prince. You know, the one that was all metal, and every part was mismolded. There was not a part on that thing that didnt need to either be filed, cut, pinned, or green stuffed. At least the model looked great if you could ever get it together.

for looks: Fantasy Minotaurs
for assembly: hmm, I'd have to go with the Doomwheel, though to be honest I have not had much trouble assembling any of GWs stuff, though stormvermin are a pain to get to rank up.
